India celebrates National Sports Day on August 29th each year. This day marks the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand, a legendary field hockey player. Sophia Sr. Sec. School Ajmer organized a cross country event with the theme “RUN FOR UNITY” to celebrate the day. Students of classes VI -XII participated according to different houses. Ruby house secured the 1st position, Sapphire house stood on the 2nd position, and Amber house bagged the 3rd position. Such events promote healthy competition and teamwork among students, and it’s great when our school fosters such activities.
