Girl Child Day was celebrated on 8th September, 2023 to honour the struggles faced by a girl during childhood to flourish in the world. It was conducted for the students of classes 6-8. The program began with a prayer service and was followed by a play honouring the first female doctor of India, Anandi Bai, who fought the odds and became a doctor. She had to struggle between the society and her unsupportive parents, who eventually got her married. She herself gathered the courage to fulfil her dreams and completed her education to become a successful doctor. This story of courage and desire of success inspired our students to follow their dreams and consider themselves fortunate to receive education.
