A special assembly was conducted by the students to celebrate Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti, a day that marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The assembly began with an introduction explaining the importance of this day.
Following the introduction, a solemn prayer service was held. Sister Beena and Sister Alexia led the service by garlanding the pictures of these great leaders. The students then performed a skit with dance. The performance was both educational and entertaining.
Additionally, a poem recitation by the students added a poetic touch to the assembly. To conclude the assembly, Sister Beena addressed the students with a few enlightening words. Her speech was a fitting end to a meaningful and inspiring celebration.
