On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, we had a prayer service on October 1, 2024, with the students and October 2, 2024, with the staff. We acknowledged the life of both our leaders and commemorated their wisdom and sacrifice. The program was concluded with melodious bhajans by the students and teachers.
The government also launched the “Swachata Hi Seva Abhiyan” on the same day. The campaign reinforces the message of cleanliness through national drives. This campaign was also incorporated in our school by workers and peons who followed the ideals of Gandhi ji and held a clerical drive in our school on this occasion. As Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of an India which was not only free but also clean and developed, we as citizens should keep our surroundings clean to maintain hygiene.
