Swachhata Pakhwada, an initiative under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, was organized in our school in the month of September, 2024. The aim was to raise awareness about cleanliness, hygiene and the importance of a clean environment through various events.
A Paper Reading session for community outreach on cleanliness was held on 4 th September. On 7 th September, our school organized a significant event in celebration of Swachhata Shapath Day. All participants, including students, teachers, and staff, collectively took the Swachhata Pledge, committing to contribute towards a cleaner environment both within and outside the school premises. On 10 th September, our school observed Hand Wash Day as part of the Swachhata Pakhwada Week. A Personal Hygiene Talk was conducted for the students of Class VIII. A Painting Competition was organized for Class VIII students on 17 th September. On 21 st September, a Slogan Writing Competition was conducted for Class VI.
Awareness Rally was organised for the students of Class VII and a Cleanliness Quiz was planned for the students of Class VIII. The Swachhata Pakhwada initiative was a resounding success, with active participation from all stakeholders. It served as a reminder that cleanliness is not just a one-time effort but a continuous process that requires collective responsibility. The activities helped instill the importance of hygiene and cleanliness in both students and the community, contributing to the larger vision of a cleaner and healthier nation.
