Independence Day Celebration at Central Jail, Ajmer

On the occasion of Independence Day, a dignified ceremony was organized at the Central Jail, Ajmer on
13 August 2025. Our students presented a patriotic dance, speech and songs that deeply moved
everyone present. The event was graced by the special presence of Father Henry, Sister Carol and Mr.
Krishna Deep from the Disha Foundation. The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp
and a prayer session.
Jail Superintendent Mr. R. Ananteshwaran thanked the school administration, stating that such
occasions inspire enthusiasm and foster a positive mindset among the inmates. The prisoners also
showcased their talent through dance and song performances, which were appreciated by all.
Information was also shared about the training programs provided to the inmates.
Deputy Jail Superintendent Mrs. Komal Purohit expressed gratitude to the Sophia family. At the end of
the program, sweets were distributed among the inmates on behalf of the school. Our Principal, Sister
Jessy Joseph also conveyed thanks to the Jail Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent and all the
participants.
