Special Assembly for Girl Child Day and World Literacy Day

The students conducted a special assembly on 8 September 2025, to commemorate Girl Child Day and World
Literacy Day. The objective of the event was to spread awareness about the empowerment of the girl child
and to highlight the importance of education for all.
The assembly began with a meaningful prayer service. Followed by a thought-provoking ‘Nukkad Natak’,
which aimed to spread awareness about the rights, dignity and equality of the girl child. Anshika Singh of
Class VIII-B addressed the gathering by highlighting the importance of literacy as the foundation of
education and progress.
The Vice Principal, Sister Roseline, in her address, appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged
everyone to contribute towards a society where every child, especially every girl, has access to education and
equal opportunities.
