Veer Gatha 5.0 – Poster Making Competition
In alignment with the CBSE initiative Project Veer Gatha 5.0, our school organised a Poster Making Competition on 31st October during the Zero Period to honour the courage and sacrifice of India’s gallantry awardees.
The activity aimed to instill a sense of patriotism, respect, and gratitude among students by encouraging them to learn about the heroic contributions of decorated officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
Students participated across three groups:
- Classes 6–8: Theme: Captain Abhinandan Varthaman
- Classes 9–10: Theme: Major Mitali Madhumita
- Classes 11–12: Theme: Captain Vikram Batra
Each participant showcased creativity and research through their artwork, honouring the bravery and selfless service of these national heroes. After evaluation, one best entry from each class group was selected.
The activity provided students with an enriching opportunity to explore the life stories of gallantry awardees and express their admiration through visual art. It successfully fostered awareness, national pride, and deeper appreciation for the Armed Forces among the young learners.
