Gandhi Jayanti was observed in the school on 20th September 2025 with reverence and gratitude. The occasion also marked the remembrance of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, whose life and leadership remain an inspiration for the nation.
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer service, invoking blessings for the great leaders and reflecting on their invaluable contributions to India’s freedom struggle. A short video presentation was shown, depicting the lives and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. To further commemorate the occasion, the devotional bhajan “Vaishnav Jan To” was rendered with deep devotion.
To involve students meaningfully, a poem recitation was held in Class VI and a slogan writing activity was conducted in Class VII, both highlighting the ideals of peace and patriotism.
The Principal, Sister Jesse, addressed the gathering and urged the students to imbibe the values of truth, simplicity, humility, and selfless service exemplified by these visionary leaders. The event served as a reminder to the young minds to walk on the path of peace, non-violence, and integrity.
