World Earth Day – Special Assembly (Secondary Section)

World Earth Day Special Assembly

To mark the occasion of World Earth Day, a Special Assembly was conducted in our school on 22nd April 2026 by the Curious Minds Club to spread awareness about the urgent need to protect our planet. The assembly began with a Prayer Service, where students prayed for the well-being of Mother Earth and to become responsible caretakers of nature, it concluded with a special song by the School Choir. This was followed by a heartfelt poem on Earth, beautifully recited by Sharvi Maheshwari of Class X-B. A meaningful depiction on the importance of adopting trees, was then presented by the students which emphasized that protecting the environment requires more than simply planting trees. The audience was then shown an informative documentary on the Earth, which illustrated the beauty of our planet. The programme concluded with an inspiring address by Sr. Vice Principal, Sr. Roseline, who urged the students to take a solemn Earth Day pledge, promising to respect, protect and preserve the environment. The special assembly left a lasting message that saving the Earth is not just a duty but a shared responsibility of all humanity.
