WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY – ACTIVITIES (PRIMARY SECTION)

As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, the Primary Section organized a series of meaningful and engaging activities to create awareness about environmental conservation among students.

Students of Classes 1 and 2 enjoyed a healthy green-themed lunch, which was both nutritious and visually appealing. Parents put in tremendous effort to prepare and present the lunch creatively, and their enthusiastic participation made the activity a grand success.

Special eco-friendly activities were also conducted for Classes 3, 4, and 5:

Class 3: Students showcased their creativity by painting stones with acrylic colours.

Class 4: Students painted and decorated egg trays or plastic bottles with acrylic colours and planted saplings in them, promoting the concept of reusing waste materials.

Class 5: Students painted and decorated green coconut shells with acrylic colours and planted saplings in them, encouraging environmental conservation through creative recycling.

These activities helped students understand the importance of protecting the environment while nurturing creativity, responsibility, and a love for nature. The celebration was both enjoyable and enriching, inspiring students to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute towards a greener and healthier planet.
