Awareness session on Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

On 25 April 2026, the Rotary Club organized an informative and impactful awareness session on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) for students of Classes IX to XII.

The session was conducted by esteemed medical professionals — Dr Jai Prakash Narayan, a pediatric specialist from JLN Hospital, and Dr Suchitra Narayan, a renowned gynaecologist from Janana Hospital.

They shared valuable insights into the causes, transmission, prevention, and importance of early vaccination against HPV. The doctors emphasized how awareness and timely preventive measures can significantly reduce the risk of HPV-related diseases.

The session was highly engaging, encouraging students to ask questions and clear their doubts, thereby fostering a better understanding of health and hygiene. It proved to be an enlightening experience, empowering students with knowledge essential for making informed health decisions.
