The Annual English Debate (Classes IX-X) and Shipwreck Competition (Classes XI-XII) was held on 23 August 2025, in the school quadrangle with great enthusiasm and spirited participation.
The topic of the Debate was ‘Influencers are the New Politicians’. The speakers eloquently argued whether social media influencers, with their growing reach and ability to sway public opinion, could be considered as powerful and impactful as traditional politicians.
In the Shipwreck Competition, students took on the roles of various famous personalities and tried to justify why they deserve to be saved by the Captain of the Ship.
Both events witnessed sharp arguments, persuasive speaking skills and insightful perspectives, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The panel of judges commended the participants for their research, presentation and oratory skills. The event proved to be a highly entertaining and enriching experience.
