Class IV – Eco Club Activity (Poster Making)
As part of our commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens, our school organized a “Poster Making Competition” for students of Class IV on 23rd August 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues and encourage students to express their ideas creatively through art.
The themes for the competition were:
1. “Say No to Plastic”
Students highlighted the harmful effects of plastic on our planet and promoted alternatives such as cloth bags, reusable containers, and eco-friendly packaging. Their posters sent a strong message about reducing single-use plastics to protect our environment.
2. “Save Electricity”
Through vibrant visuals and thoughtful slogans, students illustrated simple yet impactful ways to conserve electricity—such as switching off unused appliances, using energy-efficient lighting, and embracing renewable energy sources.
3. “Save Water”
The importance of water conservation was powerfully conveyed in posters that urged people to fix leaks, turn off taps when not in use, and use water wisely.
4. “Save Trees”
Emphasizing the vital role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, students designed posters that encouraged tree plantation, stopping deforestation, and valuing green spaces.
Class V – Eco Club Activity (Paper Bag Making)
Each child brought old newspapers, decorative papers, scissors, glue, and strings to make their own paper bags. Our teachers guided us step-by-step in folding, cutting, and assembling the bags.
