Best Out Of Waste Competition on Save Earth
“Recycling things is like magic that turns ordinary things into extraordinary.”
The three ‘Rs’ stand for: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. They are a part of the waste hierarchy which is used to protect the environment and conserve resources through a priority approach.On Earth Day , to sensitize the children, We had the Best Out Of Waste competition to promote environmental awareness for the students of Classes III to V. In which, all the three Classes had used different materials to recycle and reuse the waste material to save our planet.
The students of Class III used the paper cups.
Class IV used plastic bottles.
Class V students used disposable plastic spoons to make different things.
The Students were encouraged to participate in these activities and learn more about how they can make a positive impact on the planet.
We hope that our small efforts towards protecting the planet will inspire others to do the same and make a difference.
The competition was based on creative and innovative utilization of waste materials which normally are discarded in our homes. The aim of this activity was to encourage students to use their creativity and innovation to use the waste materials available at their home, where the final output must-have utility.
